It’s simple to OBD program Chevrolet Captiva 2011 chip and remote using VVDI Key Tool Max + Mini OBD Tool. Program the chip first, then the remote.
Look at Chevrolet Captiva 2011 remote and VVDI Key Tool Max, and Mini OBD Tool is already plugged into the OBD2 port of the car.
Customer lost working remote.
This new remote cannot start (security light does not go off).
Turn on with working key (security light goes off)
Connect VVDI Key Tool Max with Mini OBD Tool via Bluetooth.
Tap “IMMO programming” -> “Chevrolet” -> ” Captiva” -> “IMMO system” -> “Non Smart” -> “Type 1”.
Read function description (All key lost).
All keys will be deleted.
Tap “Start execution” -> “All keys lost”.
Turn ignition switch to ON.
Need at least 2 keys or it cannot start! Whether to continue?
Please wait for 12 minutes…
As you can see the security light steady.
After wait for around 11 minutes… security light go off.
- Turn off. 2. Turn on all keys for 5 seconds.
Turn on with 1st key wait 5 seconds until security light go off.
Remove the key.
Turn on with 2nd key wait 5 seconds until security light go off.
Remove the key.
Test all keys.
After programming the chip, you need to program remote.
Go back to “Remote system”.
Don’t forget your MINI OBD Tool after learning key successfully!
Chevrolet -> Captiva -> Remote system -> Type 1.
Follow the on-screen instruction to operate.
Start execution: Start “Add remotes”.
Turn ignition ON.
Press both LOCK and unlock buttons for the wanted adding remote for 10 seconds, then release, press “OK” to continue.
The sound response 2 times.
Please check if the programmed key is valid.
Test remote and it works.
