When you run JLR Mongoose SDD and unfortureatly get error message “Invalid VIN Number” shown as follows, what to do?
Cause:
The problem is due to software installation issue or OS issue, not SDD issue.

Firstly, browse http://en.file-upload.net/download-10999730/JLR139NEWPATCH.rar.html,
Download the patch file. Extract the .rar file, copy the patch2 file to Program Files_JLR_IDS_SDD and replace the original file in the folder. Then the error will disappear.
If the above-mentioned way is not working, please reinstall a fresh copy of windows xp, and reinstall SDD.
