Here I advise several pieces of working mileage change tool for EDC16U31 ECU in 2005 Audi A4 B7 based on real user’s experience.

Use tips: I would recommend you to not open ecu or you will damage it. You need to have experience to do that. Get VAGDASHCAN 5.29 and you will finish the job.
- Carprog can do it too.
- Safe way is to open ecu and do the job with BDM100 V1255 Universal Programmer, older version could fail with your ecu.
It is hard to damage EDC16 during opening when you are a little bit careful, you don’t have to lift PCB, only remove the cover. Not the hard way like MB EDC16..
- digiprog v4.94 clone. So finally i’ve opened the ECU and desoldered the S95320 eeprom for reading with digiprog clone. It’s seems to read it fine. I think ill make another post from opening the ECU to guide the people that have to do that.
