Flex 8.26.0.0: New Korhex Support for Bosch MD1CS069 and MD1CS089 ECUs

Flex version 8.26.0.0 expands Korhex support to Bosch MD1CS069 and MD1CS089 ECUs found in commercial and industrial vehicles equipped with TriCore TC299 processors.

The update introduces a Boot Glitch solution that simplifies connections and reduces working time, giving technicians more flexibility when accessing these control units.

Boot Glitch Without PCB Work

With Flex and Korhex, technicians can perform the Boot Glitch procedure without working on the ECU’s PCB. This simplifies the preparation and connection process.

Using the appropriate positioning mask specified in the manual, technicians can locate the required glitch point and position Korhex accurately. Always follow the connection instructions for the specific ECU before starting the procedure.

Continue in Boot Glitch or Unlock for Bench Work

Once the connection is established, technicians can choose between two workflows:

  • Continue in Boot Glitch mode to carry out the supported operations.
  • Unlock the ECU and continue in Bench mode, depending on the requirements of the job.

This flexibility allows workshops to select the appropriate workflow for each supported control unit.
