All American Buick GL8 from 2017- till now use the new BCM (body computer module) which has the vehicle’s mileage data. Previously, it needed a filter for dashboard mileage adjustment. But now, it can be done with CG100X easily without a filter.
CGDI CG100X Buick GL8 2017-2023 D70F3558 (BCM) wiring diagram
Main points:
- Need to connect 6 cables
- Follow the wiring diagram to cut off the connection between pin and the point marked and remove resistor marked. (Both need to be recovered after mileage adjustment)
Steps to change mileage:
Connect CGDI CG100X programmer and Buick GL8 BCM by the Pro Adaptation line, and connect CG100X to computer via USB cable
Run CG100X software (use V1.1.2.0 or above version)
Select Dashboard>> American car>> Buick>> GL8>> 2017-2023 D70F3558 (BCM)>> Start Operation
Click “Read data” to read the chip data. It’s D70F3558.
Save the data with a new file name.
It will identify the current KM automatically.
Input the new KM and click “OK”
It starts writing data…
(There is no need to click “Write”)
Wait a moment until the mileage correction process is completed.
After that, disconnect CG100X programmer and GL8 BCM, recovery the BCM, and install back to the car.
