In this guide, we’ll show you how to perform mileage correction on 2022 and later VW DQ38x0DE/0GC and DQ500 0DL transmissions (featuring the BH1G0401 bootloader and 7-pin connector). The process is done on the bench using Yanhua Mini ACDP1/ACDP2 with Module 45.
Note:
- ACDP1 Module 45 – works exclusively with Yanhua ACDP1
- ACDP2 Module 45 – works exclusively with Yanhua ACDP2
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Verify TCU Type
Confirm that the TCU is the new type with a 7-pin plug (refer to the figure).
This is critical, as older gearboxes use a different connection method.
Step 2: Connect Device
Open the vehicle’s hood, locate the original gearbox connector, and remove it
Connect Mini ACDP-1/ACDP-2 and corresponding Module 45 SH25xx-0DE interface board to the gearbox.
Move the jumper cap to the “CAN-R” end (as marked).
Power on ACDP device

Step 3: Identify Info
Open ACDP app
In the upper right corner, confirm that ACDP device is connected.
Tap VW/AUDI-> Gearbox RD/WR-> VW-> DQ38x_Gen2 (0DE/0GC)

Tap “Identify info” to view the system info
Confirm the current mileage (e.g.17150km) and system run time (453h)
Take a screenshot and save it.

Step 4: Correct Mileage (Auto Mode)
Click “Mileage correction (auto mode)”
Read system info and chip info
Save EEPROM data
Enter the new mileage you desire (such as 16300km)
Start writing chip data…
Mileage calibration is complete.

Step 5: Correct Time (Auto Mode)
Click “Time correction (auto mode)”
Confirm the system info
Now the mileage is changed to the modified mileage
Save EEPROM data

Then enter the new system run time (such as 450)
Ready to write the chip
Correct run time successfully!

Note:
If you have already purchased any of the following modules, you can buy only Module 45 license (A60B) to access the DQ38x Gen2 functionality without Module 45 hardware:
ACDP Module 19 / ACDP2 Module 19
ACDP Module 25 / ACDP2 Module 25
ACDP Module 30 / ACDP2 Module 30
