OBDSTAR DC706 ECU Tool can perform a data wipe on the Benz Siemens VGS2-NAG2/VGS3-NAG2 transmission to erase the existing coding data and immobilizer information in Bench mode. OBDSTAR P004 Adapter and Clone Jumper are required. Check the details below.

2. How to erase (reset virgin) VGS2-NAG2/ VGS3-NAG2 TCM?
Requirement:
Make sure the TCM software is updated to V30.37 or above
Prepare Benz TCM (i.e.VGS2-NAG2), OBDSTAR DC706, P004 Adapter and ECU Clone Jumper, 12V 5A Power Supply (DC) and Main cable
Operation guide:
Select ECU Flasher>> TCM>> TCM V30.37 (or above)
Input the TCM type (vgs2-nag2) according to the model at the backside of Benz TCM
Check the Pinout diagram

Follow the diagram to connect OBDSTAR P004 ECU Clone Jumper and Benz VGS2-NAG2 TCM
Connect P004 Jumper and P004 Adapter, and connect P004 Adapter to DC706 ECU Tool via main cable, also need to plug the 12V power supply to the main cable
Turn on the P004 Adapter switch button after connection, and click “Start”
Select Bench and P004 mode
Click “Connect” to connect ECU, follow the prompts to turn off and turn on OBDSTAR P004 Adapter switch button
Connect ECU successfully, and then perform “Data Erase” function
Turn off and turn on OBDSTAR P004 Adapter switch button according to the on-screen prompts
Erase the existing coding data and immobilizer information successfully
Finally, disconnect the ECU.
