How to Repair Toyota Steering Angle Sensor (SAS) with CGDI CG70?

What is required?

Tool: CG70 Airbag Reset Tool+ PC

Accessories: Jumper, USB cable, Power supply

SAS model: Toyota 89245-74010 (Steering Angle Sensor)

How to operate?

Connect CGDI CG70 and PC via USB cable, and supply power to CG70

Run CG70 software, input 89245 in the search box to quickly find Toyota 89245-74010 (Steering Angle Sensor)

There is a related operation instruction in red on the right side.

1.Check the wiring diagram and follow it to connect CG70 and Toyota SAS by the Jumper

We need to connect +12V power, GND, CAN-H, and CAN-L cables.

After connection, click “SAS Repair” button to start repairing

2.Turn the SAS internal wheel left or right, and stops until the Angle deviation value is adjusted to 0. Wait for 5 seconds and the repair is successful.

3.Check if the SAS internal wheel stays in the position same as the wiring diagram, if not, manually open the SAS and put the wheel in the correct position.

Note: Don’t turn the SAS internal wheel during dismantling.
