In this instruction i will show you guide on how to use CG Pro 9S12 programmer to read & write data for BMW CAS4 without removing components.
Preparations:
New released BMW CAS4 Module
Procedures:
Remove PCB inner board from BMW CAS4 module
It is “5M48H” chip
Run software,and then select “Immobiliser”–>”BMW”–>”CAS4-5M48H(Convanience)”
Then select “Diagram”
Select “5M48H Metal Convenience”
Follow instruction to solder DB25 adapter on BMW CAS4 PCB board
Then connect DB25 adapter to CG Pro 9S12
Back on software the click “Read” button
Operation completed
Save Data
Then we perform the first verification to see if the data have miles
Select “Dashboard”–>”BMW”–>” CAS4-5M48H(Convanience)”–>”Open”
Open the data you just saved
Check the massage info,it show you verified successfully and mileage displayed correctly
Perform final verification to check if key information is available
Select “Key”–>”BMW”–>” CAS4-5M48H(Convanience)”,then open the data save just above
Click “Key Function” button
Open the data file save above
Verification successfully,it show the VIN and key information.
