EngineDance X5 now supports boot glitch unlocking for 2020+ Bosch MD1CS003 Engine Control Units (ECUs) used in PSA group vehicles, including Peugeot, Citroën, DS, Opel, Vauxhall, and Fiat. MD1 MG1 BOOT Glitch Adapter and Jumper Box are required for this function.

Simple Operation Guide:
Connect EngineDance devices and ECU, unlock ECU via Boot glitch mode, read and write data on bench.
1.Menu Path Navigation:
- For Boot Glitch Unlock
Advanced Functions -> ECU FLASH -> Bosch Bench Mode (ECU) -> Bosch MD1xxx [After 2020 locked] -> BOOT GLITCH MD1CS003 [After 2020.06- Locked]

- For Bench Read and Write
ECU FLASH -> Bosch Bench Mode (ECU) -> Bosch MD1xxx [After 2020 locked] -> BENCH- MD1xxx [After 2020- Unlocked]
2.Device Connection:
Connect device and ECU according to the wiring diagram in EngineDance software
- Remove the specified tiny resistor on the Board
- Connect EngineDance BOOT Glitch Adapter to X5 ECU Tool
- Connect the adapter pin to point E1 on the ECU board
- Connect BOOT Glitch Adapter to ECU via Jumper Box (in X5 package)

3.Boot Glitch Unlock:
Bypasses factory security locks on MD1CS003 modules via boot glitch mode.

4.Bench Read and Write:
Read unlocked ECU version info, and full read and write FLASH and EEPROM data on the bench once the unlock process completes.
5.Security Lock Protocol:
After unlocking with EngineDance, the ECU data interface locks exclusively to EngineDance hardware.
Other diagnostic or tuning tools cannot read or write the unlocked ECU.
