Problem:
KEYDIY KD-MP reads MLB keys fine, but fails on MQB48. Key ID is read and uploaded, but server returns error: “Server self-check failed”.
Fix:
Update KD-MP Tool to V1.8.7 (released Feb 2026) – this update specifically addresses MQB48 reading issues.
Still not working?
1.Try a different key position.
2.Retry the procedure.
3.If it still fails, contact KEYDIY Customer Service.
