Now, OBDSTAR P005 Adapter Kit is specially designed to use with OBDSTAR X300 Classic G3 to provide a reliable solder-free solution, making key programming and ECU reset tasks simpler and safer for automotive technicians and locksmiths.
What is P005 Adapter Kit?
The kit includes a P005 Custom Board and a W012 Connecting Main Cable. It establishes a secure connection to the BMW BDC02 ECU, enabling essential IMMO functions without the need for soldering or physical modifications.
What Can You Do With It?
1.Solder-Free IMMO Pincode Reading (via BOOT Mode)
Read the immobilizer pincode quickly and safely—without soldering. This is the first step to adding replacement keys.
2.Solder-Free ECU Virginizing (via OBD or BOOT Mode)
Restore a used BDC02 ECU to a “virgin” state so it can be installed in another vehicle.
- OBD Mode: Fastest method, but requires the 32-bit security key.
- BOOT Mode: Use this method to retrieve the security key if you don’t already have it.
Note:
OBD-mode virginizing requires the 32-bit security key. If unavailable, obtain it via BOOT mode first.
