4. New VIN Function

The update adds a VIN function for Chinese domestic ECUs, supporting:

  • MED17.8.21
  • MED17 (TC1782)

This provides an additional option for technicians working with supported Chinese domestic ECU applications.

5. Added MED9.1 IMMO OFF Function

Another important addition in V1.4.0.0 is the MED9.1 IMMO OFF function.

The update also states that the IMMO OFF function has been optimized for PCR2.1, providing improved functionality for supported applications.

6. FC200 System and Cable Update

The FC200 system has also been upgraded to improve the overall user experience.

According to the update notice, the old DB15 cable is no longer compatible with the listed Honda/Acura systems. The new DB15 cable should be used for easier operation with these supported systems.

The listed Honda/Acura applications include various:

  • KEIHIN 37820-R48-H73 SH7058
  • KEIHIN 37820-R48-H71 SH7058
  • KEIHIN 37820-R62-H13 SH7058
  • KEIHIN 37820-RLH-H53 SH72543
  • KEIHIN 37820-RLH-H63 SH72543

  • KEIHIN 37820-Rxx-xxx SH7058
  • KEIHIN 37820-xxx-xxx SH7058

For technicians working with these systems, checking the cable requirement before beginning a programming operation is important.

7. Ability to Switch Back to the Previous System

One useful feature highlighted in the update is the ability for users to switch back to the previous system if the new system encounters issues.

This provides an additional fallback option and can help minimize disruption during ECU programming work.

8. Optimized IMMO OFF for PCR2.1

The IMMO OFF function for PCR2.1 has been optimized as part of the V1.4.0.0 update.

This improvement is intended to provide a better experience when working with supported PCR2.1 applications.
