This guide will demonstrate how to use OBDSTAR ODOMaster to calibrate the mileage on a 2024 Toyota dashboard with R7F701401 encrypted MCU on bench.
What you’ll need:
- OBDSTAR ODOMaster or OBDSTAR X300 Classic G3
- OBDSTAR P004 Adapter
- High-power DC regulated power supply
- Main cable
- ECU Clone Jumper
- Toyota R7F701401dashboard
Operation guide:
Make sure the software is updated to the latest version
Select ODO Meter-> TOYOTA/LEXUS/DAIHATSU-> TOYOTA/LEXUS/DAIHATSU V40.49-> TOYOTA-> LEVIN-> 2024- R7F701401 DENSO-> BENCH
You can click “Guide” to check the detailed instruction, click “ECU image” to check if the ECU is supported, and click “Connector Pinout” to check the pinout diagram

Follow the diagram to connect ODOMaster and Toyota R7F701401 dashboard via P004 Adapter, ECU clone jumper, and main cable, also need to connect the power supply
Press the P004 Adapter switch button
Start to perform the functions supported.
1.Read ECU info.
2.Read eeprom (R7F701401)
Click “Start” to read ECU info, access secure, write bootloader, and read eeprom
3.Mileage calibration
It will show current mileage, input the new mileage.
4.Erase DTC
After erasing the DTC, read the ECU info again
The current mileage turns to the new one. It indicates the Toyota R7F701401 encrypted MCU mileage has been calibrated successfully by OBDSTAR ODO Master.
