OBDSTAR MT203 CAN Driver/Gateway Simulator supports CAN driver and gateway simulation function for multiple vehicle models. It’s an essential aid for automotive electronics maintenance engineers. Check the registration and update guide for the first time using it.
STEP 1: Get upgrade software
1.Access to the OBDSTAR official website: https://www.obdstar.com
2.Click Service>> Download>> One Click Upgrade Tool>> Download Center>> One click upgrade tool
3.Download and install the upgrade tool
STEP 2: Register OBDSTAR Upgrade Tool
You need to register for the first time using it.
Open the upgrade tool, and it will show the login interface
Click “Sign up”
It will turn to the new register interface
Select “Register” and fill in the personal info required including product SN, register password, distributor code, user name, password, email-address, and contacts.
After that, click “Register” and wait for the registration process to be completed.
Register instruction:
1.Power on the device
2.Select “Hardware information”, and the S/N and Register password will be shown. S/N is Serial number.
3.Distributor code is different according to the country, but in general, they are 860010A1/860755B1/860755B2, or please contact the suppliers or us.
4.Be sure to input the real e-mail address. If you forget your login name or password, you can click to retrieve your account number and password and enter your e-mail address. The system will reset the password and send you an email.
STEP 3: Log in OBDSTAR Upgrade Tool
Back to the login page, input the username and password you registered
STEP 4: Update software
1.Use the default USB cable to connect OBDSTAR MT203 and the computer
2.Enter the 12-digit serial number
3.Tick “Format memory card before upgrade”
4.Select the software that needs to be upgraded (CAN driver/gateway);
5.Click “Upgrade (Alt+3)”, and wait for the software upgrade process to be completed.
