OBDSTAR DC706 successfully repairs 2016 Honda Civic Keihin PGM fitc1782 idle speed issue.

Maintenance Background: A 2016 Honda Civic with a 1.5T engine exhibited idle shaking when in D gear. The dashboard displayed an engine speed of approximately 600-650 RPM. Diagnostic tools reported no fault codes, and a thorough hardware inspection revealed no abnormalities. Cleaning the throttle body did not resolve the issue.

Solution:

  1. Navigation:
    Open the DC706 interface and go to ECU Flasher > ECM > ECM V31.42.

  2. Start the Process:
    • Select “BENCH” mode and choose the MP001 adapter.

    • Click [Start]to establish a connection with the ECU in Bench mode.
    • Read and write the INT flash (TC1782) data.
    • Verify the data when writing the INT flash.

  1. Idle Speed Adjustment:
    • Adjust the idle speed to approximately 800 RPM.
