This article show a guide on how to use Yanhua Mini ACDP to repair/recovery damaged BMW FRM data.The FRM data files are integrated in Yanhua Mini ACDP software,you don’t need to get FRM data files from other BMW vehicle.After you programming BMW FRM by Yanhua Mini ACDP,you don’t need to recode FRM.
Note:According to the FRM chip types,the operations are different.
ICP MC9S12XEQ384 (MASK:3M25J):No need get FRM data files from other BMW vehicles
ICP MC9S12XDT256 (MASK:0L15Y):Need get FRM data files from other BMW vehicles

How to use Yanhua ACDP do BMW FRM Programming?
Procedures:
After you build connection between Yanhua Mini ACDP programmer hardware and BMW FRM PCB,it look like this
Run the Yanhua Mini ACDP software,and enter menu to select “BMW”
Select “FRM Programming”
Select “ICP MC9S12XEQ384”(For this type chip,no need extra FRM data files and recoding)
Select “FRM Data rECOVERY (Automatic mode)”
Warning massage:Please connect the ACDP device and BDM adapter! Please back up all the data before performing the write operation.
The system will detecting pins,please wait…
It show RES,BKG,VCC,GND pins is good connected,click “Confirm” to continue
Check the data below.
If the FRM module data is corrupted,the 32K D_Flash data will be read out.
If you get 4K EEPROM data,it means the FRM data is not corrupted,please operate carefully.

Then ACDP software will show the vehicle information as below,click “Confirm” to continue
