Vehicle model and year: Chevrolet Captiva 2008 2.4L L4LD9
Procedure as below:
First of all, connect MS906 with Chevrolet Captiva and open it
Step1: select vehicle make.
On the main menu, click “Diagnostics” icon
Then choose vehicle model: “USA” -> “GM”
Choose “Manual selection”
“LD trk, MPV, incomplete”
“Chevrolet” -> “Captiva”
“5 speed automatic”
“With all wheel drive”
Then it is establishing vehicle communication…
Step2: Auto scan
After MaxiSys MS906 established the vehicle, choose “Auto scan” option
Then it will read out the fault codes automatically.
After that, click “Quick erase” to erase fault codes
Erase complete, click OK
Read fault again
Done! No fault codes in Chevrolet Captiva!
Step3: read live data
Choose “Live data” in function menu
Here are many live datas, we choose “Engine data”
To read the latest live data, you should restart the engine
Turn off the ignition and turn on the ignition
