How to Use KEYDIY JLR KVM/RFA Module SPC560B60L3 Chip Socket and KD-X4?

This post will guide you how to use KEYDIY SPC560B60L3 Chip Programming Socket and KD-X4 key programmer to write initialization data for Jaguar/Land Rover KVM/RFA Module without soldering.

Operation guide:

Step 1: Place chip

Put a new SPC560B60L3 chip and align it in KEYDIY Programming Socket correctly.

Match the “Pin 1” indicator on the socket with Pin 1 on the chip.

Gently place the chip into the socket.

Step 2: Close lid

Close the socket lid securely after the chip is seated properly.

Step 3: Connect to KD-X4

Plug the socket into KEYDIY KD-X4 via the pre-connected OTG cable

Step 4: Write Initialization Data

Navigate to Immo programming menu on KD-X4 tablet

Select KD-X4/KD Prog mini → Write File → Write JTAG (SPCXXXX) Chip → RFA Write Initialization Data-> J9C3-RFA_SECURE (SPC560B60L3)

Write initialization data until the process is completed

Step 5: Reinstall chip

Remove the chip from KEYDIY SPC560B60L3 programming socket.

Solder the chip onto the circuit board as usual.

Install the circuit board back into the vehicle for next operations
