How to use Lonsdor K518 Pro and LT30-01 Universal Smart Key to add new keys or do all keys lost to Toyota 4A models? Check the step-by-step guide below.
Car model: i.e. 2024 Toyota Corolla
Step 1: Connect the Device to the Vehicle
Use the OBDII cable to connect the female port of the Lonsdor Toyota FP30 Cable.
Plug the OBDII port of the FP30 into the vehicle.
Connect the other end of the OBDII cable to the K518 Pro key programmer.
Step 2: Select the Car Model
Navigate to:
Immo & Remote >> TOYOTA >> Select from type >> All smart key lost >> Type 3 (2022-) >> 4A.
Step 3: Check the Key Count
Select “Key count”.
Switch the ignition ON.
The system will display the current key count (e.g., 2).
Step 4: Back Up IMMO Data
Select “Backup Immo data”.
Follow these instructions carefully:
- Use the Toyota FP30 cableto connect PEPS case
- Make sure the device is well connectedto network before operation
During the use of this function, pls do not operate abnormally, or maliciously steal relevant data, otherwise this device will be locked and cannot be unlocked.
- Turn the ignitionon, if fails, turn on two flashing lights or cycle emergency flasher 2 times from “ON to OFF”
Save the backup file with a filename (e.g., KLL.bin).
This file can be used to add keys, delete keys, or generate an emergency key (AKL).
Step 5: Add a Smart Key
Keep the vehicle battery fully charged to avoid issues.
Switch the ignition ON.
Select “Load the read D-FLASH data of PEPS to acquire the 12-bit PIN code”.
Load the saved backup file (e.g., KLL.bin) from the CUSTOMFILE directory. Supported file size: 32K.
The count of the registered keys is 2, and the count of the registered keys is 5.
Follow the prompts:
Hold the registered key’s back closer to Start button, when buzzer beeps once, take the key away from the button
The system will display the updated key count (e.g., from 2 to 3 keys).
Turn the ignition OFF and check if the key functions properly.
If the remote functions don’t work, follow on-screen instructions.
Test the lock/unlock functionality of both the original and newly programmed LT30 Smart Key.
Switch the ignition ON, and hold a programmed smart key closer to Start button, then hear one beep.
Step 6: Final Testing
Start the engine to confirm the Lonsdor LT30 Universal Smart Key works correctly.
Test all smart key features (e.g., remote and push-start functions).
