Two Bosch MD1 Unlock Solutions in One Platform

One of the key advantages of EngineDance X5 is its integration of two independent Bosch MD1 unlocking technologies: Boot Glitch and Remote Online Unlock.

Boot Glitch On-Site Unlock
For supported TC29x ECUs, technicians can open the ECU and perform the unlocking process directly in the workshop. After successful unlocking, Bench Read & Write operations can be performed.

Remote Online Unlock
For compatible ECUs, the remote solution provides an alternative without ECU disassembly. Part number verification is required to confirm compatibility before using the service.

A More Efficient Workflow for ECU Tuners

Traditionally, some Bosch MD1/MG1 ECU jobs may require ECU shipping, remote unlocking, or waiting for external services. EngineDance X5 aims to simplify this process by giving professional workshops more flexibility.

With the new Boot Glitch technology, supported Bosch MD1/MG1 ECUs can be unlocked on-site, allowing technicians to continue with Bench Read & Write operations in their own workshop.

EngineDance X5: Expanding Bosch ECU Capabilities

The upcoming MDG1 update adds another important capability to EngineDance X5, making it a more versatile solution for professional ECU programmers.

With Boot Glitch On-Site Unlock + Remote Online Unlock, EngineDance X5 provides two different approaches for handling supported Bosch MD1 ECUs, helping workshops choose the method that best fits their workflow.
