VAS5054A infineon review: 16F40F is slower than 32F40F

Is the QC Mark label to camouflage the specs of the infineon?

There are 2 different vas5054a for sale- one vas5054a comes with 32F40F and the other comes with 16F40F.

32F40F (on Chinese VAS5054A)
On-Chip Memory Modules – 2 Kbytes On-Chip Dual-Port RAM (DPRAM) – 4 Kbytes On-Chip Data SRAM (DSRAM) – 6 Kbytes On-Chip Program/Data SRAM (PSRAM) – 256 Kbytes On-Chip Program Memory (Flash Memory)

16F40F (on original VAS5054a)
On-Chip Memory Modules – 2 Kbytes On-Chip Dual-Port RAM (DPRAM) – 4 Kbytes On-Chip Data SRAM (DSRAM) – 2 Kbytes On-Chip Program/Data SRAM (PSRAM) – 128 Kbytes On-Chip Program Memory (Flash Memory)

32F40F better than specs
16F40F original
16F20F bad return or sell for parts.

The result is

16F40F is slower than 32F40F.

A bit ridiculous! But the clone with 32F40F does run much faster than the genuine with 16F40F

If you just look for a working unit, either genuine or clone, VAS5054A with 32F40F can be a good one. it’s tested successfully, confirmed to work no issues with odis service 4.4.1 and odis engineering 6.7.5
