This post show a guide on how to program a new key for Benz W211 by CGDI MB programmer.
Note:for this method you need a original key

Procedures:
Connect CGDI MB to vehicle via OBD,keep the door open and voltage of your vehicle run on 12V.
Then run the software,and click “Read EIS Data”
After software reading data successfully,it will show the EIS information.
Select “Compute Password” option at left menu,select “Copy key with key”,then click “Collect Data”
Select “Other keys”,and click “OK” to continue.
Then the software will prompt you to insert the original key into EIS and click OK.
After you operating,click “确定” to continue
Follow the software operation to insert original key into the CGDI MB device and click “OK”
Collecting the key data…
After data collection finished,please inert the original key into EIS and click “OK”
Please wait about 9 seconds
Pull out the key from the EIS,and then click “OK”
Insert the key into the EIS again and click ok
Pull out the key for 5 seconds,then insert the EIS,then click “OK”
Insert the key into the CGDI MB again and click “OK”
After data collection finishing,save the data file with default file name.
Save the file successfully,click “OK” to continue.
Click “Upload Data”,and select the data file you save just now
After data uploading completing,click “Query Result”
Calculating,please wait
Comptuting successfully,click “OK” to continue
Click “Copy” to copy the password
Select “EIS” option at left menu,then click “Pasta” to input password
Click “Save EIS Data” button to save EIS data file.
Select “Generate EE” option at left menu,then click “Load EIS File” to load the EIS data file you save just now
Then check the information and click “Generate Key File”
The key file was generated successfully!
Select “Read/Write Key” option at left menu
Insert the new key into CGDI MB programmer
It will show the key information on software
Click “Reset”,then it show you with massage “Reset operation succeed!”,click ”OK” to continue
Click “Open/Write” button,then it will show the below massage,click “ok”to continue
Choose a unused key position file to open
Write successfully
Insert the new key to EIS,test it.
Then use software to read EIS information,it show the key position data in use.
Both of them mean your new key programming successfully!
